Dear Members and Friends of Sonoran Bells,
Sonoran Bells is currently seeking nominations and expressions of interest for service on the Board of Governors, with a particular interest in individuals who have experience in marketing, communications, publicity, branding, social media, audience development, community outreach, or fundraising support.
As Sonoran Bells continues to grow its artistic presence and community impact, strong leadership and public engagement are essential to advancing our mission of musical excellence and promoting the art of handbell ringing throughout our community and beyond.
The Board of Governors supports Sonoran Bells through organizational planning, outreach efforts, fundraising support, concert promotion, and community involvement. We are especially interested in individuals who can help expand awareness of Sonoran Bells, strengthen local partnerships, increase audience engagement, and support promotional efforts for performances and events.
Board Responsibilities:
- Attend Board of Governors meetings
- Support the mission and goals of Sonoran Bells
- Assist with marketing, publicity, fundraising, and outreach initiatives
- Participate in committees or special projects as needed
- Help identify opportunities for organizational growth and visibility
- Serve as an ambassador for Sonoran Bells within the community
Ideal Candidates May Have Experience In:
- Marketing or public relations
- Social media management
- Graphic design or content creation
- Nonprofit development or fundraising
- Event promotion
- Community outreach and partnerships
- Business, legal, financial, or organizational leadership
Both current members of Sonoran Bells and members of the broader community are encouraged to express interest or submit nominations.
